Based in Yankton, South Dakota, Heartland Internet Solutions started as an idea for a business directory for our local community.  When we first started our business directory in January of 2009, we were the first locally based, all inclusive business directory for Yankton.  We pushed and pulled until businesses began to recognize us as YanktonBIZ.com.

As those businesses began to recognize us, we found the real purpose of our business.  To help businesses obtain their internet presence on a fair budget with minimal time, maximum results and personal customer service.  So by leveraging our unique backgrounds, we began creating websites using the latest technology, our personal experiences and our need to "do it right".

In July of 2011, we officially changed our name from YanktonBIZ.com to Heartland Internet Solutions, LLC.  We did this because we are much more than just a business directory for Yankton.  We are no longer just the face behind the directory but have grown into a company that excels at providing internet solutions to businesses and has grown a client base that has reached outside of Yankton.

Collectively our experience over the past 18 years ranges from programming, project design, website design and implementation, financial reporting for businesses and business management experience.  We also ran our own Restaurant/Event Center working with customers, vendors, advertising budgets, employees, building maintenance... all the items you encounter in your business every day.  This makes us sensitive to business owners' needs, wants and their ability to spend.
